Rhiannon's godmother, Jessica, scheduled a cake smash for last Saturday with me. Jessica's had her family in front of my lens three times this year (with a fourth on Saturday) and it was nice to meet some of her extended family. Rhiannon has such gorgeous features but quite a temper! We got some beautiful portraits of her in her birthday dress first but once the cake came out and she was being held back so we could try to get a sweet shot of her with the cake before the smash it was as if Armageddon was upon us. She alternated between tears and smiles the first couple of minutes she had hold of it and in the end was a happier, chocolatier girl for it. These are some of my favorite shots.
Thank you so much Jessica! You have such a doll baby for a goddaughter and a wonderful sister. I always enjoy shooting your beautiful family.
